Welcome to the PlayItForward Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization established in December 2023 with a vision to address the concerning waste of sports equipment and the challenges faced by aspiring young athletes in underserved communities. In San Antonio, numerous talented athletes lack access to quality sports gear or the financial resources necessary to participate in tournaments and club teams. Our mission is clear: to provide these children with the tools they need to pursue their athletic dreams. Recognizing the prohibitive costs associated with sports, we are dedicated to leveling the playing field and fostering equity within San Antonio’s sports clubs and recreational activities.

Our Mission

Empowering San Antonio’s youth to achieve their athletic aspirations through inclusive programs, mentorship, and access to resources. We strive to promote equity in sports participation and opportunity so every young athlete can thrive and reach their full potential, regardless of background or circumstance.

Our Impact

After establishing our non-profit, we accomplished a successful equipment drive in February 2024, and delivered over 60 basketballs and footballs and 8 cleats to the Boys and Girls Club of San Antonio. 

We cannot wait to partner with more organizations around the San Antonio area and get more kids playing sports!
